Lisa Edelstein was an American actor who gained notoriety as the star of Fox's House medical drama. Growing up with traditional Jews from Wayne, New York City was the place she went to pursue her studies in acting at Tisch. Soon after, she was involved with club culture and caused enough fuss that she caught the media's attention. Then, she used her experience and fame and her own training to both write and present a program called Positive Me. In the following months, she got an interview with MTV and was the host of Awake in the Wild Side. After the show ended, she started appearing in the film and television industry, initially in smaller roles, and slowly established her place as an actor.
