Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan, better known as Sundar Picha is an Indian-American business executive. [6] He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google.Born in Madurai in India, Pichai obtained his degree from IIT Kharagpur in metallurgical engineering. After moving to the United States, Pichai earned an M.S. After moving to the United States where he completed an M.S. in materials science and engineering at Stanford University. Following a brief stint at McKinsey, Pichai moved to Google in 2004. There, he was responsible for the development of Google Drive as well as innovation and product management. In addition, he went on to oversee the development of various other applications like Gmail and Google Maps. In 2010 Pichai also made public the open-sourcing announcement of the new codec for video VP8 by Google and introduced the new video format, WebM. The Chromebook was released in the year 2012. Pichai also included Android to the Google products he managed in 2013.
